The Murders in the Rue Morgue

Summary

Dupin is a very smart man. While he was reading the newspaper, caught his antencion an article that talked about the cruel murder: someone mysterious killed Mademoiselle L'Espanye and her daughter. Dupin decides to investigate the murder on his own. He Went to the house of Mademoiselle L'Espanye and found some footprint too large to be human footprints. He came to the conclusion that were traces of gorilla. Place an ad in the newspaper. If someone has lost a gorilla and the owner is searching It, come to my house. Days after, a sailor went to Daimon's home because of the announcement of the animal. He explains that the gorilla is a rare specie that's from India. And he says he saw the gorilla escaping from his house, and got into the house of Mademoiselle L'Espanye and murdered the two womens.

Personal Opinion

I think that this history is hard to believe. I do not like stories that explain illogical things. It took me reading this book because it is easy to deduce what would happen. But the ending is an exeption. It surprised me because I never imagine that a gorilla was guilty.
