Ask Well: How Many Miles a Week Should I Run?
Surprisingly few miles. With only five or six miles a week, our health can improve markedly. People who run this distance weekly are underweight and less likely to be obese than people who doesn't run this distance.
With only one or two runs a week that last one hour each the purpose is achieved. Running a few additional miles it would be worthwhile if the person wanted to control their weight and thus afford to eat more calories. You can also run more miles if you want to be a more experienced runner.
Running more than an hour a day could be dangerous, as they may increase heart problems.
Personal Opinion
Running is very beneficial to health. It is the most complete exercises. But keep willpower to do it. Running is not like playing tennis: in tennis there is no breaks, and doesn't involve too much movement. Instead, when it's practiced footing must keep a steady pace and above all don't stop running, even if it hurts. This is what it costs more and I think this is the reason why people do not practice running so often.
