Siege Highlights Security Used in Abortion Clinics
Everything happened like in a movie. The
police were heavily armed. They entered the clinic in order to reduce the armed
man and release all those trapped inside. Officers stationed outside the clinic they helped their fellow through the cameras of the clinic, managed to see how events unfold on the inside
and help their fellow.
John Suthers is the mayor of the city and he
could see where the suspect was. The officers knew where people were refugees
inside and they knew how and when to intervene to rescue them. The clinic has already taken strong
preventive security measures. It has a very advanced camera system, a supply of
bulletproof vests and a "safe room", which was useful to safeguard
the life of a woman.
Abortion clinics need to take extraordinary
security measures that aren’t necessary for other health care facilities. That
can include bulletproof glass and safe rooms, as well as cameras and lighting
and security protocols. The staff of the clinic abortions was well prepared for such occasions, and this way they saved a lot of lives. There was also a security guard at the door, but heleaved finished their turn.
The president of the clinic Ms. Cowart said the shooter had never gone beyond the waiting room and says that the employees helped to save many lives taking them to the back of the clinic. Planned Parenthood officials declined to discuss their security measures in any detail, for fear of giving tips to would-be attackers. But they said the measures were extensive.
Since 1977, 8 doctors and medical staff of abortion clinics have been killed by anti-abortion movement. There Have Been an additional 17 Attempted murders, 42 bombings, 186 arson attacks and many Thousands of violent or other illegal acts Threats Against abortion clinics.
Personal Opinion
These things should not pass and these things would not happen if the law of US arms changed. It is not safe for anyone to whichever (and I refer to this murderer psychopath who kills for prejudices) can get a weapon. I also believe that although the United States generally have a reputation for being a developed country, most of its states are living with a mentality rooted in the past.
